Fribourg St-Nicholas Cathedral

According to legend, if its 74 m tower is unfinished it is because there was no money left. A jewel of Gothic architecture, the cathedral was built between 1283 and 1490.

Fribourg Churche and Convent of the Ursulines

The small church, built in 1653-1654 by Hans-Franz Reyff, is most remarkable for 17th-cen. Swiss architectue in its unusual mixture of Gothic and Mannerist style.
