The St. John Bridge

The St. John Bridge is one of the three bridges in the Old Town of Fribourg. Originally, this bridge was a covered, wooden structure with 3 tuff-stone arches.

The year 1746 saw the birth of the bridge you can walk on today. The bridge was as well renovated in 1983 and next to it the Monument of Röstigraben of André Bucher was posed in 1994.
