Installed in a wooden house built in 1780 that is typical of the Sense River district of Fribourg, the Sensler Museum tells of the region's life and culture over the centuries.
The museum presents a permanent exhibition on the culture, housing, lifestyle, beliefs and traditions from the 18th to the 19th century. The museum also exhibits many pieces from the straw crafts industry, which, in the past, was an activity of great importance in the region.
