365 steps up the tower and closer to the Lord, marvel at the view of the town and of the Fribourg Prealps.
Opening hours of the tower of the cathedral between June 6 to November 30:
Monday to Saturday: from 10 am to 5 pm open non-stop
Sunday and public holiday: from 1 pm to 5 pm
The opening hours of the tower are extended until November 30, 2020. The opening hours remain the same and allow you a daily access to the tower. However, access remains subject to favourable weather conditions (closed if snow or frost) and religious ceremonies.
Last entrance 30 minutes before closing time.
The access to the tower is now from the outside of the cathedral on the left. With the entrance token, you have to go up a small staircase that leads to the turnstile and then to the tower. Follow the signs in front of the cathedral.
Entrance tokens are available at the Marchands Merciers, the information point on the right-hand side of the cathedral.
ON THURSDAY 22ND NOVEMBER, THE TOWER OF THE CATHEDRALE WILL BE CLOSED FROM 1 PM.
