The Carnival of Fribourg (also called "Carnaval des Bolzes") has been filling the cobbled streets of the Old Town with colourful parades, Guggenmusik, laughter and fun over 50 years. In addition, more entertainment and a great party atmosphere are in the Old Town's bistros, bars and cellars.
The "Carnaval des Bolzes" takes place in the old town of Fribourg, at the Petit Saint-Jean Square.
The big parade is paying, the children's parade on Tuesdays is free.
