The parade takes place in the Old Town of Fribourg
The Carnival of Fribourg (also called "Carnaval des Bolzes") has been filling the cobbled streets of the Old Town with colourful parades, Guggenmusik, laughter and fun over 50 years. In addition, more entertainment and a great party atmosphere are in the Old Town's bistros, bars and cellars.
The "Carnaval des Bolzes" takes place in the Old Town of Fribourg, at the Petit Saint-Jean Square.

Masked ball and mask competition - Monday - 8:30pm - Place du Petit-St-Jean
Parade for Children – Tuesday – 2.39 pm (duration about 1 hour) - from 4pm snack offered

Family pass: 2 paying adultes give free entrance for kids between 6 and 12 years CHF 20.--
