Following the meanders of the river Sarine, you will pass from one side to the other on the most authentic bridges of Fribourg. Whether it is a bridge from the Middle Ages or from the modern times, this guided tour will let you discover the wonders of Fribourg, one of the best preserved medieval cities in Switzerland. Enjoy as well the preserved nature along the Ritter path, just few minutes from city center!

Tip: Take advantage of your hike to visit the eastern part of the Freiburg fortifications, which consist of the Berne Gate, the Cat Tower and possibly the Burgundy Gate. Today, this complex of defence buildings forms the most important ensemble of medieval military architecture in Switzerland.
