moving type. This invention not only is part of the World Heritage and is presented in the
the oldest preserved attic in Switzerland.
Every year the museum presents special exhibitions related to the graphic arts, the visual communication, to the museum building or to the town of Fribourg.
The Gutenberg Museum of Fribourg aims to help visitors understand the different aspects of letterpress printing and communication in an interesting way. It invites novices and specialists, school classes, young people and adults into the multicoloured world of the art of printing.
